LSCT020 (BW) - Stob Dearg, Buachaille Etive Mor
Probably the most photographed mountain in Scotland. A sneaky photo trip whilst on holiday to Scotland. The monochrome conversion emphasises the stormy mood of the weather.
LSCT001 - Highland Reflections
LSCT003 - Transient Light, Stac Pollaidh
Light in the highlands can often be fleeting. Here a gap in the clouds is allowing the side of Stac Pollaidh to be illuminated.
LSCT006 - Smailholme Tower Sunset
A peel tower located a short distance from the border town of Kelso. Smailholme could be set in the centre of the highlands due to the rugged and craggy nature of the land around it. In the distance, you can see the Eildon Hills the remains of ancient volcanoes.
LSCT007 - A Scottish Sunset, Smailholme and the Eildons
LSCT013 - April Showers, Eildon Hills
Taken from Scotts View the Eildon hills are surrounded by the River Tweed as it winds its way to the coast. I was dodging April showers as I took this image.
LSCT016 - Tower Reflections, Smailholme
LSCT019 - Cottage and the Buachaille
Sitting at the head of Glen Etive and just before you travel down Glen Coe, Buachaille Etive Mor is one of the most photographed locations in Scotland. With the whitewashed Cottage sitting under its loft battlements. Certainly does make for a photogenic scene.
LSCT021 - Under the Buachaille
LSCT026 - Golden Light on Hard Rock, Pettico Wick Bay
Just to the north of St Abbs village is the small bay called Pettico Wick. Towering cliffs made from eroded volcanic rock make for a spectacular location.
LSCT023 - Under the Buachaille
LSCT027 (BW) - Standing on the Edge of the World, St Abbs Head
That’s what it felt like, looking at the cliffs plunging into the North Sea and the waves crashing beneath me. I could have been somewhere like middle earth.
